AOTU's Artist-in-Residence Program invites international artists, curators, filmmakers, designers, architects, dancers, musicians and theorists to experiment and explore different issues and themes in the context of contemporary art.

AOTU will gladly provide letter of acceptance for the grants / funding applications process undertaken personally by the artists.

Artists and curators interested in contemporary painting, photography, sculpture, installation, multimedia, video, film, digital art, sound, performance, or interdisciplinary art are welcome. Age and gender are not limited.

Submit a one-page application letter, resume, and portfolio (≤2MB) to info@aotuspace.com, indicating the duration of your residency (3-12 months). There is no deadline, so you can apply at any time. Selected applicants will be required to sign an agreement and pay a 10% refundable deposit. Non-Chinese applicants must arrange their own visas; AOTU can issue an invitation letter.
